Learning From Your Critical Inner Voice As A Life Coach

June 25th, 2014 | 19 comments

I’m delighted today to be hosting a guest post from Beautiful You Life Coach Libby Thompson. Libby is not only an incredible life coach, but a psychologist as well and recently she has become interested in the incredible role that self-compassion can play in our lives. She has been learning from the ‘Godmother’ of self-compassion based work, Kristen Neff, at a retreat, who is the best of the best in this field.  I love Libby’s post on how as life coaches we can harness the power of self-compassion in our lives more.  You can connect in with Libby further and her wonderful work at All You Can Be Psychology.  We all have it. (Yes!  Even as a life coach who is trying to ‘help’ people be their best and live an amazing life.) A critical self. That mean voice in your head that tells you that you are not good enough as a…

I’m delighted today to be hosting a guest post by Kate Erlenbusch of Word Love.  Kate is a soulful copywriter and even more soulful entrepreneur.  Her passion for words, language and communication is inspiring and she’s the type of writer and copywriter that makes you look and feel better than you could ever imagine.  She’s with us today to share some insights into how to write your About Me page.  And yes, you want it to be as amazing as you can!  It’s the place where your next coaching client is most likely to want to dive into to get confirmation that you are the life coach, health coach, business coach (or all of the above) for them.  Enjoy Kate’s wisdom but promise yourself you’ll do more than that – promise yourself you’ll put her suggestions into action! And a great place to start with that is to download her…

We don’t necessarily give a great deal of thought to what we have to let go or get rid of, or even banish to the high hills. But there is always at least one thing that we need to take a clear but self-compassionate look at and ask ourselves the sometimes difficult question of ‘Is this really serving me and helping me and my business be its beautiful best?’ The answer and what you do about it can be the difference between amazing entrepreneurship and a life coaching business ride that is just so-so. I’m thrilled today to have guest posting for us Stephanie Pollock, an incredibly successful business owner, on…
